Before commencing the hiking part from Soraypampa to the lake, we will take a breakfast break to recharge energies and get ready.
The hike to Humantay Lake is a challenging but rewarding experience, taking visitors through a beautiful landscape of mountains, valleys, and streams. The trail is about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) each way and takes around 2-3 hours to complete, depending on your pace.
Once you reach the lake, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the crystal-clear waters and the surrounding snow-capped mountains. The lake is particularly impressive in the morning, when the sun is shining, and the water reflects the colors of the sky.

Visitors are asked to show respect and reverence for the site by following certain rules and customs, such as making an offering of coca leaves or other traditional items.
