Begin your adventure by heading to the Sacred Valley from where we will begin our hike to the small community of Cancha Cancha. The hike to Cancha Cancha is approximately 3 hours along ascending terrain. Our team will arrange for our lunch out in nature to make the most of our hike.

The small community of Cancha Cancha is one of the region’s most traditional and self-sustaining communities. This community has no access to a main road and its inhabitants still carry out their daily routines following their ancestral ways.

Once at the summit, we will make our descent (3 hours) to Kiswarani.  Along the way, we will meet local villagers with their traditional outfits out and about on their daily herding routines. At Kiswarani, we will rest for the remaining afternoon.

The trail will take us from high andean puna and glacial lakes to gently rolling valleys and farming land.  We will be rewarded with views of the mighty  Colquecruz and Pitusiray Mountains.

Once at Cuncani, we will have the opportunity to meet the local children and their school facilities.  We will spend some time here interacting with the children before taking our private transportation to the Lares hot springs.

Our lunch will be at the hot springs, where you will have the chance to soak in the natural volcanic waters of the springs. After lunch, we will take our private transportation to the train station in Ollantaytambo.
